Mark directed his first feature film ‘The Passage’ starring Stephen Dorff (‘Blade’, ‘World Trade Center’) in Morocco, and was selected for the Discovery Category at the Toronto Film Festival as well as winning the Jury Commendation award for Best Feature at the Durango Film Festival. He then went straight into directing ‘Star Crossed’ starring Luke Mably (’28 Days Later’, ‘Chosen’) which was a retelling of Shakespeare’s classic ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and filmed entirely on location in Portugal. His third feature film ‘The Mulberry Tree’ featuring Joe Morton (‘Terminator 2’, ‘Speed’, ‘Justice League’) centred on a young man’s relationship with a convicted murderer who is dying of AIDS, and also won several International awards. ‘A Modern Magician’ is Mark’s short film debut.
