Hananel, a young religious Jew, is hurrying home for Shabbat. An unexpected encounter with Mundir, an unwanted and stubborn Palestinian hitchhiker, leads Hananel on a series of mix-ups, eventually teaching him a lesson in communication, friendship, and love.
Nadav Shlomo Giladi graduated from the Sam Spiegel Film School. His first short movie, ‘Short On Cash’ (2014) with Lior Ashkenazi, was presented across France during the SNCF Crime Festival. It screened at many festivals such as Sacramento (Best Short), LA Comedy Fest, Haifa, and was short listed for the Ophir Prize (Israeli Academy Award).
Across the Line is Nadav’s third short film as a director.
