Director’s bio:

Max Goldstein, 18, of South Orange, N.J., graduates in June from Columbia High School in Maplewood and is headed to the Radio, Television & Film program at the University of Texas at Austin in August. He has written and directed several short films that have won or been official selections in film festivals in New Jersey and Texas. Colors of the Spirit won the Grand Jury prize for animated shorts at the SOMA Film Festival’s Young Filmmaker’s Track and a Silver REMY Award at WorldFest — Houston International Film Festival.
