This moving film follows the struggles of Detective James Zadroga, the first NYPD Officer whose death was attributed to the toxic dust at Ground Zero, as well as the legal battle after Zadroga’s death in 2006 by his family and by legislators to procure health benefits for other 9/11 first responders.

Born in New York City and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey, Alexander (known by most as “A.J.”) grew up enamored of films and the filmmaking process. At the current age of 17, Alexander has now created numerous short films and even wrote a feature-length screenplay. This is Alexander’s second year in the Jersey Shore Film Festival.
