Olivia is a twelve year old immigrant from New York. She is trying to find her place in the new world she just landed in, namely:  Israeli society. As if by fate, she connects instantly with Alem, an Ethiopian boy who sits next to her in class. It doesn’t take long for her to realize: it’s a friendship bound to cause problems.

Director’s bio:

Ruchama Ehrenhalt, is a graduate of Ma’aleh School of Film and Television in Jerusalem. As a literature, and communications major, she holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education, from Herzog College of Education. She served in the IDF, as a Foreign Liaison NCO to Jordanian Military and UN Officials. Originally from Long Island, Ruchama moved to Israel when she was four years old, and grew up in Bet Shemesh. She is currently living in Jerusalem, and volunteers at the Jerusalem African Community Center – human rights department.She is also working at Go2Films, as their International Educational Coordinator.
