Throughout most of Booker’s 13 years of life, he’s been more or less inseparable, and totally dependent on his mother. The  mother and child bonding they shared, has created a lasting impression on the both of them.

Suddenly; his life is turned upside down when he discovers another woman has entered his father’s life. And so Booker must decide how best to take matters into his own hands; in order to defend his mother’s honor.

 

 

Director’s bio:

George is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. In 2002, he wrote and produced “Real Woman Have Curves”, and won the ‘ Sundance Film Festival Dramatic Audience Award’.  In 2006, he wrote “Blood Monkey,” for the Sci-Fi Channel, and his 2008 film “A Dog Year” premiered on HBO, and starred Jeff Bridges (who was nominated for an Emmy for Best Actor). In 2019, George received an ‘New York Emmy Award’ for directing the Web Series: “We Speak New York”.

Presently: Mr. Lavoo is a professor at the School of Visual Arts, in New York City.
