Mikel and Marta, now 13 years old, have been the closest of friends since they were seven, but things are changing. Marta has begun to branch out and meet new people, and Mikel is becoming jealous. On one summer day, they are out taking photos for a high school job and somebody implies that they are a couple, which disturbs them. They have never considered themselves to be anything other than friends.  After going to the coast and running out of money, they decide to walk back home. The walk will take all day long and will force the couple to confront their emerging feelings that may endanger their friendship.
