Amir Jalali was born in 1979 in Yazd, Iran. He’s a photographer, actor and a filmmaker. He started his professional career in cinema and photography in 2003 after graduation from the Iranian Young Cinema Society. He has diploma in photography and holds a B.A in cinema with a major in film editing.
Jalali has had multiple exhibitions of his photography in Iran. He has worked as a photographer and cinematographer for eight feature films and more than 20 short and documentary films. Residents of the Last Floor is his first film as a director.
